Blackpool Hotel special offers and promotions

Valentines Day - 14th February 2008

Valentines Day in 2008 falls on a Thursday and is possibly the first break many people will get after the Xmas and festive periods. Valentines Day is a time of year to show the loved in your life how much you truly mean to each other (So send the kids to your brothers, sister, mother and fathers) and take a break with us.

We would like to offer a special ‘Valentines Package’ to those wishing to get away for a cosy lovey dovey time together.

Check in on the 14th February 2008 Thursday for three nights for only £25 per person per night. The room will have a bottle of bubbly and a box of chocs waiting for you on the first night.

For those who wish to really splash out why not book a five course candle lit evening meal for Valentines Day at only £9.99 a head. Your order can be taken in advance to ensure the freshest possible ingredients.

Easter 2008

Easter is the first real break in the School calendar and a great opportunity to get away from it all. During the bank holiday weekend we will be taking bookings for a minimum of three nights, the Friday, Saturday and Sunday leaving on the Monday. As this is probably the busiest three days of the whole year we would ask that you book at your earliest opportunity in order not to be disappointed.

School Summer Holidays - 2008

For most parents and children this is a period of six to seven weeks depending on the area of the country you live in. For hoteliers this period can span eight to nine weeks as the different counties around the country tend to break up at different times. To ensure that you have the days or weeks that you wish we once again would ask that you plan in advance.

This period is the busiest period for our family rooms and is the most popular type of room at this time of year.

We will take bookings in advance to ensure you room is reserved however we will have to charge a one night cancellation fee.

Blackpool Illuminations

The Blackpool Illuminations are turned on every year by the first week of September for a period of two months or so. The Illuminations are usually turned on with an extravagant Blackpool's Illuminations are switched on annually at the start of September and continue, nightly, until the beginning of November.

The illuminations consist of many a glowing tableau, large illuminated models, and laser lights. Fibre optics and computer control have brought a new dimension to Britain's biggest tourist attraction. The illuminated displays stretch along the sea front from Starr Gate to Bispham. The sea front is lit up like a belisha beacon with the view of the lights being an array of colours that can be seen afar.

Blackpool has a wonderful International firework display every year that has attracted some fierce competition from numerous international competitors.

October Half Term

Possibly the last chance for people to get away before Xmas holidays and at time when the illuminations are still glaring away for all to see. The full English breakfast on offer really does warm the cockles of your heart at this time as the UK goes in to winter mode and the clocks are changed. Other than the Easter bank holiday weekend this two weeks of the year is the busiest 14 days of the whole year. All reservations need to be done in advance to ensure your reservations are secured.

Business guests

We would like to suggest that any Business travellers to Blackpool would in fact benefit more from staying in our B&B rather than a conglomerate owned travel lodge or Inn. Not only are we much better value for money (our price should help set you on your way to achieving your travel budget) and we offer you a freshly prepared breakfast that will definitely set you up for the whole day. Check out the variety that we offer for breakfast and some of the advantages of staying in a family run hotel B&B.

Blackpool (B&B) versus a Travel lodge?

There are many advantages in staying in our hotel or other local B&B’s in the North Shore rather than any sort of travel lodge or travel Inn. Not all hotels are the same however we feel our hotel out performs a travel lodge or Inn by the following reasons.

  • Hospitality
  • Warmth
  • Friendliness
  • Cleanliness
  • A fresh and hearty breakfast (included in the room rate)
  • A more welcoming price (that is definitely Value for money)
  • FREE Internet access

How do we know we are offering our service far better than a Globalized Conglomerate are able? Well it is not everyday you will see the owner of the company (ME) being supervised by the MD’s (my mother and wife!). One can not say that about any conglomerate that I have ever known…

Our rooms are clean, fresh, compact (you could not really have a game of football with your mate using our pillows) and they are very homely and relaxing.

Good All rounder !
